Give Chances held a free “slime making workshop” for local children and youth in Palisades Park, New Jersey, on September 3rd (Tue). The workshop, which was attended by 16 children, was a part of the talent sharing program at Give Chances, and was taught by Sena Jun, one of our volunteer tutors.
Sena has been volunteering as a tutor with the Joyful Learning Children’s After-school program since 2018 at Give Chances. Last summer, she has participated in a Slime Expo and with the profit she produced, she donated three tablet PCs for the children of Give Chances.
Sena said she felt greatly rewarded seeing the children enjoying the slime workshop and said she will continue to serve the society with her talents and time.
We are extremely thankful to be able to work with such an inspiring volunteer tutor like Sena and we would like to express our deep gratitude for her support. We look forward to working with her to change the local area of New Jersey!
